The Bystander Effect.

I recently came across the term ‘the bystander effect’. The term refers to a phenomenon that suggests that the more people present, the less likely, people are to help a person in distress. The theory argues that observers are more likely to take action when there are fewer people around.

If your unsure about what I’m talking about then take a look at these videos. I found it shocking, especially the second one.

To actually think that by the time the two men helped that girl, considering the amount of times this test was done before, she would have been long gone and perhaps never found again. This video utterly shocked me. Makes you actually wonder, would you actually help?

If you see anything weird or unusual take a moment for second thought.
